Thirty-something couples PAULA & PETE and JACKY & NIGEL, along with their perpetually single pal NICK (30s) have been best friends for years. Since grade school, the quintette has been inseparable. Until...Nick finally gets engaged to a girl named VICTORIA (28). From that moment, he seems to change. As far as the other four are concerned, driving a wedge through such a tight friendship is unforgivable. One night, the quartet jokingly speculate on how they would kill Victoria in order to save Nick from making “the worst mistake of his life'' by marrying her. However, when Nick brings Victoria on the annual weekend cottage trip, the killing joke turns into a real plot when Victoria manages to uncover a dark secret about each of the four. Former Gator Galaxy wrangler and ex con Bubba Coggins, newly out of prison, is presented with the opportunity to have his record expunged if he can find, catch and kill Bonecrusher. Desperate to clean up his past and begin a new life with his daughter and grandson, Bubba’s moral compass becomes immediately challenged when he finds himself willing to do ANYTHING, even kill, to accomplish his task of extinguishing Bonecrusher’s reign of terror.

We'll be putting the 'Festival' in film festival with a number of live events, entertainment and talks from industry professionals, all topped off with some mouth-watering food and drink!

DEAD NORTHERN 2023 TICKET TERMS AND CONDITIONS: 1. All Dead Northern tickets are non-refundable unless stated otherwise 2. Dead Northern E-Tickets are UNIQUE TO EACH ATTENDEE(S) 3. You must be at least 18 years of age in order to gain entry to Dead Northern festival events 4. Valid photographic ID is required upon entry to verify your E-Ticket and age. Suitable forms of valid photographic ID include your passport and driver’s licence. photocopies are not acceptable times of events will be listed via our website www.deadnorthern.co.uk. Last entry for each event is stated in the event programming. If you arrive after this time you will not be allowed into the event and your ticket will not be refunded. All E-Tickets have a unique barcode. Duplicate E-Tickets will be refused at the door and you will not be able to gain entry to the festival.
